On Tuesday P C S J Dunford, late Lance Corporal Military Foot Police who saw service in France and Italy, and who was wounded while serving the the latter station, re made the necessary declaration on resuming duty as a constable of the Borough Police Force. Chairman of the Bench (Mr J Rowe) expressing congratulations on his return. Other men of the Borough Police Force who say service with the Army and who have now resumed duty, are PC's G E Burt, E G Bridle and W T Legg.
