Qualified as Telegraphist, rang finder, telephones, gun laying, map reading. 12/9/1919 to demobilization. Served Home 26/3/1915 to 23/2/1917, BEF 24/2/1917 to 13/8/1919, Home 14/8/1919 to 11/9/1919, demobilized 12/9/1919. 12/5/1915 he married Edith Annie March, spinster at the Registry Office Leicester address 2 Galby Street, Billow Brook Road, Leicester and c/o Mrs Marsh, Road A, Freemans Common, Aylestone Rd, Leicester. 15/8/1919 he was awarded £2 on the Crystal Palace Demobilization Acquittance Roll.
