Served: Restored service 25/2/1898 to 9/1/1900, Home 10/1/1900 to 13//1901, South Africa 14/3/1901 to 21/9/1902, India 22/9/1902 to 25/10/1907, Home 16/10/1907 to 9/1/1908, Army Reserve 10/1/1908 to 5/8/1914, Home 6/8/1914 to 6/9/1915, BEF 7/9/1915, Italy 21/1/1919, Home 22/1/1919 to 24/2/1919, 25/2/1919. 6/8/1916 re enlisted in the 12 Lancers, 15/10/1914 he transferred to MMP, 9/9/1915 21 Division, 13/4/1918 1 Mounted TC Squadron, 25/11/1917 to Italy, 5/4/1917 promoted Cpl, 10/8/1917 promoted A/Sgt, 7 Division. 29/9/1920 he married Beatrice Alice Cripps, Spinster at the Registry Office Staines, Middlesex, they had children, 30/11/1914 son Ernest Edwin died, address: 20 West Hampstead Mews, West Hampstead, London. 9/6/1964 he died as New Cross Hospital, New Cross, London age 84 years, formerly Tram Driver, address: 10 Burton Grove, Walworth, London SE17.
