This letter was found in the Service Records of C/Sgt P Giannini, MFP: dated 9/7/17 from the PM, UK, Home Forces to the Commandant, CMP Depot Aldershot states: Reference your 352/31/B, dated 3rd July, 1917. I return the two notebooks, which I consider are excellent in every way. The instructions which you are giving these Senior NCO's from Commands is going to prove of the utmost assistance in increasing the efficiency of the Military Police at home, and, incidentally, in raising the prestige of the Corps of Military Police in the eyes of other units.
