Corps of Military Police - At St George's Garrison Church, Aldershot, on Sunday, a memorial was unveiled by Major General H M Lawson, CB and dedicated by the Chaplain-General. The memorial consists of a stained glass window depicting Christ carrying the cross, and is inscribed: To the glory of God and in memory of Lance Corporal's Winn, Wetherly ?, and Spicer, Military Mounted Police and Carey, Large Roads and Burton, Military Foot Police, who lost their lives in the South African War, 1899-1902, this memorial was erected by their comrades of the corps past and present.
