A soldier from the 3rd Battalion The Rifles, who has not been named, died after a Taliban ambush in Sangin. Investigations showed he had been killed by rounds fired by a British soldier. Another soldier, Lance Corporal Michael Pritchard, of the 4th Regiment, Royal Military Police also died from friendly fire in Sangin on Sunday. |
