British forces in Afghanistan have suffered a second "friendly fire" fatal shooting in 48 hours. Both soldiers were killed in Helmand province. A soldier from the 3rd Battalion The Rifles, who has not been named, died after a Taliban ambush in Sangin. Investigations showed he had been killed by rounds fired by a British soldier. Another soldier, Lance Corporal Michael Pritchard, of the 4th Regiment, Royal Military Police also died from friendly fire in Sangin on Sunday.
