Leeds man's body found. From our Ipswich correspondent. Searchers in Felixstowe yesterday recovered the body of Sergeant Cyril Stanley Tidswell a 37 year old member of the Corps of Military Police and a native of Leeds, who had been reported missing from Landguard Fort, Felixtowe, where he had married quarters. The body was found on Langer Common. Sergeant Tidswell is believed to have been drowned in the floods which swept the town on the night of January 31. Sergeant Tidswell who had been in the Army for about 20 years was stationed at the transit camp at Harwich. He was apparently visiting his wife, who is a Leeds woman and his two children, when the surging waters struck the building, quickly flooding it to a depth of over five feet. His wife, who was saved, is now living in married quarters in an Army camp at Colchester.
