Two Soldiers attached to the Army headquarters, Lisburn, were killed last nigh when their car was involved in a headon collision with another car on the Augher Ballygawley road. They were Corporal Richard Joh Roberts (22), an Sergeant Allister Roderick Lane (34). Both died almost instantly. The driver of the other car, Ivan Stewarst, of 7 Prince Andrew Terrace, Derrygonnelly, was unhurt in the crash. The crash happened on a bend at Annahills, near Augher, the scene of another fatal crash recently.
