He transferred to the MFP on 24/8/1920. He married Edith Williamson (spinster) at the Garrison Chapel Cologne on the 11/5/1923 and had a daughter Winifred Gertrude Joy on the 15/10/1924. He died of tuberculosis on the 24/10/1924 at Cologne. Info from Army Register of Soldiers Effects 1901-1928. 24/10/1920 died at Cologne Germany. 15/12/1912 his widow Edith received £6-06-06 and 2/1/1925 she received a further £12-12-11.
