Sergeant Arthur Edward Vernon, Corps of Military Police whose home is in Clayton, Manchester, was in charge of the police station of Kuching camp, Sarawak. He said they lost 600 to 1,000 in their camp through malnutrition and disease. At one stage he worked in China and Thailand. |
