I James McKenzie now being No. 8006 Pte. James McInnes of the Depot the Royal Scots do hereby confess that I was No. 6812 Pte. J McKenzie, Royal Scots Fusiliers, that I absented myself from that Corps on 29/12/1901 and that I fraudulently enlisted in the Regular Forces on the 24/4/1902, Signed James McKenzie, Pte. I James McInnes do solemnly and sincerely declare that I was enlisted on the 24th of April 1902 under the name of James McInnes which I now declare to be incorrect.
