Served Home 10/7/1895 to 12/4/1907, Malta 13/4/1907 to 16/3/1911, Home 17/3/1911 to 19/11/1918, BEF 20/11/1918 to 30/11/1919, Home 1/12/1919 to 29/12/1919 to discharge. 30/9/1918 reverted to Sgt on ceasing to be NCP i/C 3 Area, Western Command. BAOR with 1 TC Company. Awarded the Long Service & Good Conduct Medal in Army Order 99 of 1914. 18/12/1904 he married Hildergarde Gertrude Harvey at the Registry Office Dover, they had 4 children.
