Pro Branch War Diary WO 169/7474. 12/11/1942 SIB reported that a message received from Basra that Lt. Heath attached SIB had been killed when his car ran into river at docks. 1 Base Pro Coy War Diary WO 169/8197. 12/11/1942 Lt Heath, Royal Warwickshire Regiment attached to SIB drowned when his car backed into river at RAF jetty. Body recovered by diver 2 hours later. No tackle available strong enough to raise car. 12/11/1942 Casualty List (Officers), Persia & Iraq, Died as a result of an accident. Harold Heath.
