Joseph Halsey. Extract from the Buckinghamshire Examiner 9 April 1920. Death of Bucks Constable. The internment took place at Chorley Wood on Wednesday of an ex-constable of the Bucks Force - P.C. Joseph Halsey. Deceased joined up for military service from Aylesbury and was attached to the Military Mounted Police ans sent to France. There he contracted illness. He was for a long time in the Aylesbury Hospital. the funeral was attended by Sergeant Giles and PC's Rawlings, Saunders and Hildreth from the Bucks Force.
