Two NCO's were Killed (L/Cpl's Wedge & Ogilvie) and two seriously injured. One of whom died later (L/Cpl Bond) of his wounds. His No. on Memorial in Corps Chapel is 4375622 which is East Yorkshire Regiment. Inscription on gravestone: " Lead him, O Christ, his life's work done, safe at home at last "Thy will be done"".
