| Notes: | RMP. 6 Airborne Div Pro Coy. 1/3/47 Died. At 20.00 hrs 1/3/1947 a land mind disguised as a kilo stone was detonated in Haifa as a Military Police jeep was passing. Two NCO's were Killed (L/Cpl's Wedge & Ogilvie) and two seriously injured. One of whom died later (L/Cpl Bond) of his wounds. His No. on Memorial in Corps Chapel is 4375622 which is East Yorkshire Regiment. Inscription on gravestone: " Lead him, O Christ, his life's work done, safe at home at last "Thy will be done"".
