Awarded the Long Service & Good Conduct Medal, Army Order 68 of 1903 and the Coronation Medal 1902. 9/2/1904 he married Maria Bignell, spinster at the Registry Office, Salisbury. 25/10/1914 he died at Tulse Hill, London SW from influenza.
