He was born in Great Cressingham, Norfolk, occupation Shepherd, age 33.10 years, address: father 55 Langar Cottage, Goodsend, Stoke Ferry Norfolk, and enlisted and resided in Loughborough, Sutton Bennington, Nr Loughborough. 15/2/1917 transferred to MFP. 30/10/1918 died at Beirut from Malaria at 74 Casualty Clearing Station. 9/12/1918 His widow received the following property: 1 ID disc, 1 clasp knife, 1 x strop, 1 wallet, 2 medal ribbons, letters and cards.
