FROM THE GREAT WAR BATTLEFIELDS. Pilgrims Who Left Wreaths of Remembrance. Cardiff members of the British Legion who had visited the old battlefields on the Western Front returned home on Tuesday. Whilst in the neighbourhood of Poperinghe a visit was paid by the Lord Mayor of Cardiff (*Alderman O. C. Purnell, J.P.) and his party to the Military Cemetery there to place a wreath on behalf of Mrs. Elliot Seager, of Cardiff, wife of the ex-High Sheriff of Glamorgan, on the grave of her brother Trevor A. Jones who was killed in action. The old cemetery in the same sector also was visited and Mr George Latham, a member of the Cardiff City Fire Brigade and the Lord Mayor of Cardiff placed wreaths as tributes to the memory of Mr. Latham's brother, the late Cpl.
