He was born in London S E and resided in London. 1 Div Pro Coy War Diary WO 170/396. 12/5/44 Anzio 796148 CPL W H Sadler severely wounded by shell fragments whist on duty at No. 8 TCP (traffic control post). 15/5/44 Cpl Sadler died of wounds. Inscription on gravestone: Unfading love and ever present and lasting beautiful memories.
