A collision between a soldier motorcyclist and a car at a cross-roads at Sutton in Ashfield on Sunday night, resulted in the motorcyclist receiving fatal injuries. He was Corporal Alec Arthur Peacock (22), of the Corps of Military Police, whose home was at Bletchley, Bucks. He was involved in a collision with a car driven by Michael Phillip Heathcote. of Laurel house, Station Road, Sutton in Ashfield.
