Motorcycle evacuated to base. No name in War Diary but McKenzie is the only burial in Egypt in August 1940. No inscription on gravestone. 29/6/1933 he enlisted in to Scots Guards, for 9/3 years, 9/1/1938 he transferred to CMP. Casualty List 299, Egypt, Died, 13/8/1940. Casualty List 394, No,List 382, Middle East, Died,13/8/1940, correctly shown on List 299, with Army No. 2979159. Casualty List 520, List 299, Egypt, Died, surname should read McKenzie not Mackenzie. Alexander McKenzie.
