Casualties unknown. 14/11/44 SIB advise body washed up at Gaza Lido, believed to be that of S/Sgt McGeachi, 57 MPDB. 16/11/44 telephone message from SIB, body of S/Sgt Drew C found on Gaza Beach and taken to 91 General Hospital. Sgt Cornish is not mentioned but died on the same day as McGeachi and Drew. Inscription on gravestone: Till we meet again peace perfect peace. Casualty Lists 1612, Palestine, missing, date not reported, shown on CMP List.
