Casualties unknown. 14/11/44 SIB advise body washed up at Gaza Lido, believed to be that of S/Sgt McGeachi, 57 MPDB. 16/11/44 telephone message from SIB, body of S/Sgt Drew C found on Gaza Beach and taken to 91 General Hospital. Sgt Cornish is not mentioned but died on the same day as McGeachi and Drew. Inscription on gravestone: Till we meet again peace perfect peace. Casualty Lists 1612 Palestine, Missing, date not reported, shown on CMP List. Casualty Report 1625, Palestine, previously reported missing now reported died in accident, date not reported.
