Unit War Diary WO 169/13250 80 Company TC. 14/6/43 Lam Luda, accident occurred in convoy in which 4621818 Pte Carley J of this company, driving a 15 cwt Bedford truck, No. Z4764784 received severe head injuries from which he died on the way to hospital at Barce. Court of enquiry ordered at Matruh by DAPM Matruh Zone. Casualty List 1186, CMP. Libya, died as a result of an accident, 14/6/1943.
