Inscription on kerb of private Grave stone: In loving memory of Pte. James Aaron Bird, killed on duty April 5th 1942, aged 25 years. From his wife, Mother, Father, Sister Ada and Brothers Joseph and Albert. 22/2/1940 he married Ada Eley at Newhall Parish Church. Casualty List 800, Home, died as a result of an accident, 5/4/1942.
