Died as a result of a motorcycle accident. 19/8/14 born in Hemsworth, Yorkshire, served in the Coldstream Guards from 31/9/32 to 1/6/39. 1/12/39 recalled to the colours. Casualty List 196, Home, died as a result of an accident, 15/4/1940. Leonard Douglas Bannister.
