Two soldiers were found shot at Dover. Sergeant H J Palmer was discovered dead in the barrack-room from guns shot wounds. Shortly after Lance Corporal Wingate, of the Military Foot Police was found at Archcliffe Fort Barracks suffering from wounds caused by shooting. He died later, 2/5/25. He left the sum of £10.16.8. in Soldiers Effects 1901-1929. George Wingate.
