Buried in the Royal Hospital Plot, Brookwood. 2/3/1916 his son William Henry Bird age 3 died at the West London Hospital from pneumonia after operation on his tonsils, address: 616 Guinness Buildings, Hammersmith. 2/12/1907 he married Margaret Agnes Conaron, spinster at St Pauls' Catholic Church, London, they had two children: Winifred Hilda, born Dover, 9/9/1908 and William Henry, born London 9/6/1912.
