Citation:   A damaged letter in his documents from the Hampshire Constabulary awarding him the sum of !0/- and 1/6d for going to the assistance of PC Messenger at a disturbance at an Inn in Farnborough and giving evidence in court. The men involved were sentenced to 4 months imprisonment with hard labour.
