He qualified in Maxim Gun Drill and Sanitary Police. His father Daniel lived at 33 Napier Road, St Peter's Estate, Tunbridge Wells. MILITARY POLICEMAN'S DEATH The County Coroner (Mr Leonard Warner) conducted and inquest at the Military Arms, Haslar, on Wednesday on the body of Sidney Buss, aged 28, a lance corporal in the Military Foot Police, and formerly of the Sussex Regiment. Deceased was in the barrack-room at the new barracks, Gosport, on Monday afternoon, in company with Lance Corporal Burt, of the MFP. The latter left the room for a few minutes and on returning found deceased lying on the floor apparently dead. Major C D Waring, RAMC, made a post mortem examination, and discovered the deceased's heart was twice the normal size. He attributed death to heart disease, and a verdict of "natural causes" war returned.
