SERGEANT'S DEATH IN CANAL ZONE.
To be buried at Larne.
The death occurred on Friday in the Suez Canal Zone, Egypt as the result of an accident of Sgt. J Campbell, Royal Corps of Military Police, whose wife is a daughter of Mr & Mrs James Clements, 3 Olderfleet Terrace, Larne Harbour.
Sgt Campbell who was 37 years of age, was due to be demobbed in November after 21 years service. He was a native of Larkhall, Lanarkshire.
He leaves a wife and two sons, Jackie (7) and Ronnie (5) who are in Egypt.
The body will be brought home and the funeral will take place in Larne.
