11/12/1912 he married Dorothy Emily Goldstone at St George's Cathedral, Cape Town, South Africa. 3/1919 a letter in his documents from his mother in law at Oak Lodge, 5 Wellington Road, Wanstead, London E 11 to Officer i/c records states: Will you lease forward me the address of 63730 Pte. E Wilson of the Yorkshire Regiment now stationed in North Russia, as there is trouble at home for him and I am his wife's mother and I want to write to him concerning it, so should be extremely obliged if you could let have it by return and oblige.
