He is an ex Yeomanry man, who joined up in January 1915 and after lengthy service on the Western Front was sent to Italy. Other men recently demobilised are Detectives Green and Skelton, both of whom enlisted in the Military Mounted Police and were afterwards drafted to the Detective Branchy of the Police Corps.
