Info from Pension Index Cards: Shirley, Henry, No. P/508, MMP, L/Cpl.21/5/1916 discharged, 27/8/1916 died of cerebral haemorrhage due to disease contracted on active service. Widow Elizabeth, born 14/6/1868, of 96 Walsall Road, Kings Hill, Wednesbury. 3/7/1818 she received a grant of £5, 28/8/1916 she received a pension of 15/- per week. Henry Shirley.
