Served Home 21/9/1914 to 4/10/1915, BEF 5/10/1915 to 6/7/1916, Home 7/7/1916 to 3/3/1919 to discharge. 11/9/1900 he married Catherine McFawd at Tangh Boyne church, they had 5 children. 5/2/1915 his daughter Lizzie aged 1 1/2 years died from scarlet fever at the workhouse, Strabane. 3/3/19 to class Z reserve. 3/9/1919 he was awarded 5/6d per week pension + 3/2d for 3 children to be reviewed in 9 weeks, disability GSW head and thigh injury to knee less than 20%.
