Mr. and Mrs. William Robbins, of 14, Home Park Road, Nuneaton, today celebrated their Golden wedding with a family dinner party. They were married during the First World War when Mr. Robbins, who had been a policeman in Nuneaton for four years joined the Military Mounted Police. After the war Mr. Robbins went into the building trade and worked for two Nuneaton firms until he retired at the age of 70.
