P/8822 L/Cpl Mortimer, MMP states: On the 25/2/1918 about 16.30 hrs I was on duty in Dautibli village where I saw a British soldier who I found was 1823 Saddler Bonar, D from No. 4 Animal Horse Transport Depot. As the fact of his being in the village which was contrary to orders, I obtained his number and rank and ordered him back to his camp. signed L/Cpl G Mortimer, MMP.
