Served home 24/10/1899 to 6/2/1902, South Africa 7/2/1902 to 6/10/1902, Home 7/10/1902 to 25/8/1914, BEF 26/8/1914 to 25/12/1914, Home 26/12/1914 to 6/4/1915, BEF 7/4/1915 to 3/4/1919, Home 4/4/1919 to 3/5/1919 to class Z reserve. 7/2/1903 he married Alice Jane Eccott, spinster at the Parish Church, Basin, Southampton, they had 3 children. 6/4/1919 he was awarded £2 on the Crystal Palace No. 1 Demobilization Acquittance Roll.
