Citation:   The following are added to the list of names brought to the notice of the Secretary of State for War for distinguished services rendered in connection with the war (published in the Supplement to the London Gazette No. 29919 dated 25 January 1917). The APM Dublin Bt Maj W V Moul, Retired Pay, late Cheshire Regiment is on the same list. He took Sir Roger Casement the Irish Nationalist from Dublin to London where he was tried and hung for treason.
