Frank Percival Tunstall. Extract from the Western Morning Post, 17/5/1920. Death Of PS Tunstall. Result Of a Motor Accident. Police Sergeant Frank Tunstall, Plymouth Force, died in the South Devon and Cornwall Hospital yesterday from a fractured skull, sustained in a motor accident near Ivybridge on Friday. P S Tunstall was one of the chief witnesses at the astounding bigamy case at Totness and was returning to Plymouth after attending the trial. Aged 32, he had been with the Plymouth force about nine years. During the war he served in Africa with the Military Foot Police and a few months ago he passed the examination and was promoted sergeant. He was single and resided with his widowed mother at Neswick Street, Plymouth.
