P/3155 LANCE CORPORAL T WATTS 34 DIVISION MILITARY MOUNTED POLICE For consistent devotion to duty during the period 26 February to 16 September, 1918, and particularly at St. Leger during the enemy attack in March, where he did most valuable work in collecting stragglers and assisting wounded, while in charge of three stragglers' posts. The cool courage, judgement, and endurance which he displayed on this and other occasions under heavy shellfire have been most marked.
