Notes:   CMP. Formerly Black Watch. Died 1937 in Shanghai. Extract from the Dundee Courier, 18/10/37. ANGUS MAN DIES IN SHANGHAI. AFTER THREE YEARS ABROAD WITH MILITARY POLICE. News has been received of the death in Shanghai of Sergeant Robert Peters, of the Military Police, third son of Mr and Mrs James Peters, Kirkton, Monikie. Sergeant Peters who was in his early thirties, served with the 1st Black Watch before being sent to Singapore three years ago with the Military Police. He was engaged at the Military Prison there. Some months ago Sergeant Peters was transferred to Shanghai. He died after a short illness. He is survived by a wife and daughter. His father Mr James Peters has been with Mr John Fairlie for over 30 years.
